As I’m sat staring at a blank page wondering exactly where to start with explaining what this whole year has meant to me, it’s made my mind think way back to right where everything started. Why? Because this year has undoubtedly been a giant leap towards what I had hoped to achieve when I was sat in this same position exactly a year ago. I wasn’t writing an article for Wangan Warriors at that time, which is why I believe 2014 is where it truly started, and it’s been an absolute pleasure to come on-board with the team. It’s been a hectic one, no doubt – and for that reason I’d like to take the opportunity to not just talk about the craziness that has made this year, but also to go back and introduce myself properly as part of WW.

My 2014 – Steady as she goes
Another year gone. Another year hunting for speed, shooting cars, events and friends. A year that hasn’t been spectacular but a year that can’t be described as dull either. A year without trips across the globe but with a few “small” trips across Europe. A year where I tried to stretch my legs a bit more when it comes to photography. Twenty Fourteen: My moments
Twenty fourteen is over. It became somewhat of a tradition for us to revise the year and look back at some of our adventures and that’s exactly what I’m about to do. King of Europe – The Final Battle

Drift Allstars Round 6: Taking over the streets of Kaunas.
For one last time in 2014 the Drift Allstars circus would descend upon a town, turning it into their home for the weekend – Kaunas in Lithuania would set the stage for the series finals. With all the drivers still hungry for a podium finish and the overall championship still up for grabs for a select few, the street track would prove to be the ultimate setting for this day of judgement. BDC Round 4 – Smoke on the Water
It seems like just a few days ago since I was stood on the side of the track at Teesside for Round 3. Drift Allstars Round 4: Turn it up to eleven.
As a photographer you’re continuously trying to one-up yourself. You keep trying to challenge yourself in new ways and get even better at what you do. In this quest for improvement, you also try to look for events that will help you express your creativity and that will allow you to create exciting images. BDC Round 3: JDM Appreciation
It was time again to hit the road and travel to one of the further locations on the British Drift Championship calendar for me. Prior to this I had never visited Teesside, but I’d heard a lot of good things and couldn’t wait to take on the challenge of trying somewhere new. Some events are worth travelling five hours for, and I was convinced that Round 3 was going to be one of them.
