N24 2018: The 24 finest

Now we can write a report about N24 about who won what at which stage by which driver during what risky overtake but I know that there are plenty of motorsport news reporters who have done that before us and possibly better than we would if we tried now. Wangan Warriors still consists of a group of car enthousiasts with a couple of passionate photographers among them and I’d like to show that I’m one of those. Continue reading

24’s are coming…

We’ve been preparing for another season of madness. 24 hour races are high on our prioritylist to shoot these last couple of years and we’ve got a couple scheduled again so we’re hoping for some nice content in the coming months. Here’s a selection of shots from our Total 24H of Spa 2017 converage! Continue reading

The 24H battle of Spa

The biggest benefit of being a photographer is that we visit places or see certain events happen that we would not experience otherwise. I mean, most of the time we’re at the frontline of important issues or happenings because we’re the ones to register it all on our memory cards. However, I’m happy that I don’t concider myself as a photographer who just registers. I always try to take in all there is to absorb and experience because you’ll never know if you will live through it ever again. Continue reading

Nissan Motorsport at the 24h of Spa 2016.

Living one and a half hours away from the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, the 24 hours endurance race of Spa has naturally been high on the ‘to-do’ list of must-go events.
This year the time had come to finally tick that one off the list so me and Rens Adams geared up with enough spare batteries and Red Bull to last us through the long and sleepless weekend and went on our way. Continue reading

WNGN Guests: Lukas Weißer

Hey there. Assuming barely anyone on here knows me, let me introduce myself. I am Lukas, 27, from a small village near Bonn, Germany. First let me disappoint some of you by telling you that I am not the typical „car guy“ as many of you would expect me to be. I do not hang out with that many tuning guys and gals and rarely attend car meets or stuff like that. But don´t worry, my heart is fueled by gasoline. Motorsport is what gets me going. The love started early and having the Nürburgring 45km away helps a lot to keep the fire burning. At one of my visits to the eifel-forests I brought my mum’s cam. Not to actually „shoot racing“ but to capture what I was seeing as personal memories. From that point on the whole photography thing got a little out of hand and developed into what I am doing today. The art of Zolder

There are many racetracks that leave a lasting impression on you after only visiting the place just once. I’m going to be honest with you, a good three years ago I didn’t feel these immediate admirations for the Circuit Zolder in Belgium. I never considered it a bad or boring track, but it just never left a lasting impression on me. However, during the weekend of the 24h race of Zolder, my vision and opinion of it turned 180 degrees – I think I just might love this track now! Continue reading

Silverstone 24H – Never Give Up

This time last year several members of Wangan Warriors were eagerly anticipating heading over to Germany. Despite them all being lucky enough to have enjoyed it before, it would be my first visit to the Nürburgring, and also my first 24 hour event. Nothing can quite prepare you for what you’ll experience on this trip to the Green Hell, it’s the ultimate event for any petrolhead.
