You never know what cars you’ll run into on events, and that’s a good thing. DMPD Finest was no exception. Rens and I had no idea what cars would be there, so we were pleased to see this lovely Z had turned up to the former RAF base in Weeze, Germany. Continue reading

Car feature: Double trouble
I love doing feature shoots. Getting to know people, making friends and finding out what drives them to do what they do. And I’ve got to thank that little black light capturing device for that! However, the thing I love the most about doing features is the story your subject for day has to tell. In this case two subjects! And I think I’ve got a nice story to tell… Continue reading
Introduction: Out of bad comes good.
Before I explain what that cryptic title is all about, let me tell you something about myself first. My name’s Maurice Bergers, 26 years old and I live in Schiedam, a town right next to Rotterdam in the Netherlands. As many if not all of you here, I have an almost unhealthy fascination with things powered by combustion engines, whether it be on two wheels or four. Continue reading
Events: DMPD, awesome on so many levels
DMPD, or DUMPd in last year’s spelling, is one of those events I really look forward to all year long. The first edition in 2012 was a huge success and when the date for 2013 edition was announced I immediately marked the day in my agenda as booked. Continue reading
Events: DMPD, amazing as always
Another event, another success. DMPD seems to make a name for itself when it comes to organising high quality automotive events. But let me rephrase automotive event in this case because the DMPD show was a lot more than just an automotive show. It’s about the people, the scene, the lifestyle and respect. After last years succes it was expected to be held again this year although the rumours were that it was a one-time only event. Luckily the organisation decided to persue with DMPD, it was predetermined to be. Continue reading

Events: DMPD trackday
Let me start by saying that this is the way a trackday should always be held. I can’t recall being at a track session with so much mutual respect and kindness among the people present. DMPD is going places if you ask me. The DMPD drift jam had the same impression on me and what I’m trying to say is that I had a real good time at Zandvoort last Saturday and I sincerely hope many of these events will follow. Continue reading
Spotlight: An immaculate Integra DB8
We at Wangan Warriors are constantly on the look out for fresh content for the blog. Often we are on the lookout at meetings or events to pick the cream of the crop for a shoot but sometimes events unfold themselves not as you would expect. In this case I stumbled upon Robin’s immaculate DB8 via Facebook. I saw one single photo and I just knew I had to get this car in front of my lens! Continue reading
Meets: Japanse Import Meeting – A sunny day out
Living in Holland has it’s downsides. One of the biggest is the weather which isn’t that good. We haven’t had a decent summer for ages and that’s exactly one of the reasons I don’t attend many meetings because usually the weather sucks! But there has been one meeting that was one my bucket list for quite a while now; The annual Japanse (Japanese) Import Meeting. Continue reading
Weekend Wallpaper: Four door ITR
As you might have noticed, we have a lot going on at the moment. Almost every weekend one of our crewmembers is out shooting and we’ve got quite some stuff planned ahead. We’re trying to deliver a weekly blog and wallpaper and we have been able to be consistent with our posts. There are some changes coming but I can only reveal one just yet! We’re expanding the crew again with one international photographer who will be joining the Wangan Warriors blog crew very soon and he will introduce himself shortly! Continue reading
