Now we can write a report about N24 about who won what at which stage by which driver during what risky overtake but I know that there are plenty of motorsport news reporters who have done that before us and possibly better than we would if we tried now. Wangan Warriors still consists of a group of car enthousiasts with a couple of passionate photographers among them and I’d like to show that I’m one of those. Continue reading

Andy’s Spoon Powered S2000 (AP1) at the Nürburgring.
The Nürburgring truly is a special place. Nowhere else in the world can you turn up at 17:30h after work and go for a quick blast along a 20km. winding racetrack. It doesn’t matter if you are driving a ’90s Micra or the latest Lamborghini. As long as it has wheels and it drives, it is welcome at the ring.
WNGN Guests: Lukas Weißer
Hey there. Assuming barely anyone on here knows me, let me introduce myself. I am Lukas, 27, from a small village near Bonn, Germany. First let me disappoint some of you by telling you that I am not the typical „car guy“ as many of you would expect me to be. I do not hang out with that many tuning guys and gals and rarely attend car meets or stuff like that. But don´t worry, my heart is fueled by gasoline. Motorsport is what gets me going. The love started early and having the Nürburgring 45km away helps a lot to keep the fire burning. At one of my visits to the eifel-forests I brought my mum’s cam. Not to actually „shoot racing“ but to capture what I was seeing as personal memories. From that point on the whole photography thing got a little out of hand and developed into what I am doing today. Weekend Wallpaper: Winter is coming
This weekend wallpaper contains something we don’t see every day. As we all know, the Nürburgring is unpredictable when it comes to the weather conditions. We’ve been teased with some amazing winter scenes from the Nordschleife the past couple of days and I thought I’d drive over there to see it for myself. As we arrived at one side of the track, it looked like it was completely dry but the part of the track on the other side of the mountains were completely covered in snow. Continue reading
Weekend Wallpaper: N24
It’s been a while since we last shared a nice Weekend Wallpaper right? Well a few of our crewmembers such as myself visited the N24 this year and captured some material which will probably not be used for blog content but more so for our personal portfolios. I figured there are loads of Nürburgring fans out there so I hope this Nissan GTR is a nice sight for your desktop. Continue reading
Events: Nürmeet 2013 – A wonderful weekend
Just a few weeks before the DTM, Noud, one of the founders of Wangan Warriors, asked me if I wanted to come along to the SXCE Nürmeet. As a big fan of the DTM, but also Japanese cars this wasn’t an easy choice. The DTM is one of the highlights on my calendar, but I also knew the Nürmeet would be a great way to spend the weekend. After a week of being in a dilemma, I decided on the Nürmeet. I just knew I’d regret not coming along, and looking back on my decision, I’m sure I made the right choice. Continue reading
Weekend Wallpaper: From Wehrseifen with love
After our weekend at the ‘Ring and the N24 going on as we speak we’ll keep sharing some more of our Nürburgringshots. Alex chose for a heavy black and white conversion. I believe this is a good choice as a weekly wallpaper! What do you think? Continue reading
Car life: Walking around the Green Hell
A few weeks back I visited a famous place. A place with many names. A place with a rich history. And it’s a race track. A track of which the names of the corners are known all around the world. A track in trouble, with a very uncertain future. A track I’ve never visited before. Continue reading
Weekend Wallpaper: Scenes from the Nordschleife
I think it’s becoming an addiction to work on my photographs of the Nordschleife. As Alex is working on a blog about our stay at the ‘Ring last week, I provide you another shot of the track for the weekly wallpaper theme. Stay tuned for Alex’ feature! Continue reading
Weekend Wallpaper: Nürburgring beauty
We still owe you the weekly wallpaper which we post every weekend. Due of bad internet connection during our stay at the Nordschleife we were unable to post it earlier. To make it up to you, here is something you might like! Continue reading
