Car feature: A real Bippu bosu!

As a worshiper of the JDM lifestyle I absorb anything that comes from Japan. And I do mean ANYTHING! It’s a good thing that a lot of people with Japanese cars are staying true to the Japanese way of modifying but what really gets my heart racing is seeing a car in Holland that looks like it came straight from, let’s say, Daikoku Futo. And let me tell you, this car got my pulse racing for sure! Continue reading

Car feature: Impressive SiR-G

What we have here is a nice blend of JDM, OEM, a little USDM look, loads of stance, some flushness and above all character. I’ve never met Rajesh Mannoesingh before our photoshoot with his Integra but for some reason it didn’t feel like a first meeting. I checked out the car before on various social media channels and at the Kick-off meeting in Amersfoort. I fell in love with it after Rajesh put new wheels on it and at that time it all fell in one place and it convinced me to contact Rajesh for a photoshoot. Continue reading

Spotlight: Time for change

We all agree that it never ends what we do. Finishing a project might give you temporary satisfaction but after a short while you’ll probably start thinking about a next project, better upgrades or a complete game changer. You all know Noud and his S13 by now and you also know that he has a certain style and taste when it comes to his 200sx. Over the past years a lot has changed on his car but it was only recently when the biggest change was done to the exterior. Continue reading

Meets: Winter Season kick off!

I’m not sure if I’m suprised of the cold weather because the fact that we’re having a very long winter is not that extraordinary any more by now. What suprised me is the amount of people who still had the courage to drive for several hours to attend our meeting. The fact is that we did expect quite some people but when the weather forecast started saying we could look forward to some snow, I wasn’t sure about the outcome anymore. Luckily my gut feeling was proven wrong though! Continue reading

Car feature: Gerben’s pride

Here at Wangan Warriors we accept many styles and ways of thinking from the people who visit our meetings, website or forum. If you want to build your car for track use only, that’s fine. If you want to scrape your civic like nobody else does, that’s fine too. Do you like it ghetto style and tie-wrap the sh*t out of it, feel free to do so! Do you like it clean and spend some money on importing wheels from across the globe, why not!? We’re always looking for unique ways of living and approaches of your personals styles and flavours. A perfect example is Gerben’s Impreza  WRX bug-eye. Continue reading

Events: DUMPd: A first impression

Every once in a while, you get an opportunity presented that can’t be turned down. A new organisation, called DUMPd was born and they had the had the briliant idea of organising an event in September. In the beginning of 2012 our club was asked to help out with the selection of this event. And how can you say no to something like this? Right, you don’t. Since we’re focussed on Japanese cars only, it would become our main priority to find the greatest JDM rides in and around the Netherlands and make sure they will be present at Dumpd. Continue reading
